The Bible Says Love Is a Skill
My Beloved let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 1 John 4:7 (NLT)
Love is a skill that can be learned. In other words, it's something you can become wonderful at and that means you get better at love by practicing love. There is no time better than now. You may think you're a good lover, but God wants you to become a great AGAPE lover, a skilled lover, a master lover. Yet, most people never learn how to love, which is so sad to me.
Wouldn't it be wonderful to be known as a person of extraordinary love? When people speak of you they might say: "He/She doesn't care who you are or what you look like. He/She doesn't care where you've been or what you've done or where you're from." The only way you get skilled at something is to practice. You do it over and over again. The first time you do it, it feels awkward, but the more you do it, the better you become and then it becomes your LIFESTYLE!
1 John 4:7 says, 7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is begotten of God, and knoweth God.
Let's practice loving each other as the Bible says, "Practice these things; be committed to them, so that your progress may be evident to all" (1 Timothy 4:15 HCSB).
I am talking about AGAPE LOVE! This can ONLY BE ATTAINED if you are ROOTED AND GROUNDED in GOD'S MARVELOUS LOVE.
God’s Greatest Attribute Is “LOVE.”
•WITHOUT LOVE there is no True Forgiveness.
•WITHOUT LOVE there is no Grace.
•WITHOUT LOVE there is no Mercy.
•WITHOUT LOVE there is no Compassion.
•WITHOUT LOVE there is no Peace.
•WITHOUT LOVE there is always Confusion.
•WITHOUT LOVE there is no Joy.
•WITHOUT LOVE there is no Understanding.
•WITHOUT LOVE there is no Remorse.
•WITHOUT LOVE there is no Repentance.
WITHOUT APAGE LOVE, there is no GOD abiding in you. Sorry, but it is true.
How do we find our way back to that place of AGAPE LOVE that set the whole world in motion?
How do we find that Love that God spoke into the atmosphere and then there was and He said “IT IS GOOD?”
Let me let you in on a secret, you can only find it being wrapped in the TRUE AGAPE LOVE OF GOD HIMSELF and it takes great work on our part but the rewards and that “SWEET PEACE” are so wonderful…..
We should all be looking for that love of God and learn through our life choices, failures and victories to acquire that God kind of Love, it is only in that kind of Love that we are truly VICTORIOUS.
PEOPLE that do not know how to love will think it strange;
LET THEM and YOU MUST REMEMBER TO KEEP WALKING IN THE MANIFESTED AGAPE LOVE OF GOD!
